We all experience challenging times in our lives and taking that first step in deciding to come to therapy can be difficult. I have great admiration for those who choose transformation. I know the strength, courage, and vulnerability it takes to live as your authentic self.
Every person has a unique story, goals, challenges, personality, values, belief systems, and cultural influences that are woven together by experience. At times, these experiences can contribute to feelings of disconnection in relationships, an increase in anxiety and depression, unhealthy behaviours or other challenges in your life. Sometimes it can be too much to handle alone and we need help working through it.
I am passionate about taking the time to understand my clients’ unique experiences, from their own perspectives and individual histories. With this knowledge in mind, I help clients gain insight and understanding into their difficult life experiences, identify challenges and goals, and create strategies for positive growth, as well as space for healing.
