Through my own personal experience, as well as through my work with clients, I recognize healing is not linear and it is not always an easy process. Successful therapy involves being an open and active participant in the process and that small, consistent steps are key.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that we all strive to be seen, heard, validated and accepted. In my practice, I endeavour to provide a space for clients that is warm, supportive and safe, where they are able to express themselves authentically and allow vulnerabilities to surface. I bring empathy and compassion to all issues, while integrating a variety of models and techniques to address the myriad of complexities that come with our collectively shared human experience. I believe it is important and ultimately empowering, to understand the ways in which early experiences shape people‚Äôs view of themselves, other people and the world. This is often what may be keeping people stuck in unhelpful patterns and behaviours. In my work I guide people towards gaining a deeper, more insightful understanding of themselves and their relationships, while creating fulfilling and meaningful lives.

I work collaboratively with my clients and tailor my approach to their needs and preferences, drawing on a number of therapeutic approaches including:
